Designed especially for printing directly onto fabrics, the Grenadier Textile incorporates piezo-head drop-on-demand technology and has a maximum speed of 51m2 an hour. It has a resolution of 720dpi and comes in a choice of four widths – 1.62m, 1.87m, 2.23m and 2.6m.
According to B&P, it can use aqueous-based sublimatic, acid, reactive, disperse or pigmented inks. The Textile also has a rotating cylinder which, when heated to 220C, enables “the polymerisation of sublimation” process to be carried out on-line.
