Nigerian Watch newspaper increases print-run

Nigerian Watch a free, monthly newspaper launched in April by publishing company Green World Media has more than doubled its print-run to 50,000.

The title will now also be distributed at a number of London Underground stations including Catford, Charing Cross, Ealing Common, Lewisham and Tooting Broadway.

The monthly newspaper, which is printed at Newsfax, started with a 15,000 print run when it launched in April.

According to Maryanne Jemide, managing director of Green World Media and publisher of Nigerian Watch, the title has grown in popularity since its launch.

She said: "Nigerian Watch has gone from strength to strength and we are particularly proud to have reached the milestone of 50,000 copies in the print run.

"With 20 stations also added to our distribution network this means that even more members of the Nigerian community can enjoy news that is relevant to their world."

In addition to rail stations, the newspaper will be distributed at select London superstores, Heathrow and Gatwick airports, and a range of independent retail and beauty outlets.
