Four new substrates from PrintPlus Fabrics

PrintPlus Fabrics has debuted four new textile substrates for digital printing applications at Fespa.

The Egyptian manufacturer is a subsidiary of Elkotb Textiles, which serves a variety of textile markets including sportswear, lingerie, medical textiles and home textiles. PrintPlus was established to serve digital print specifically in 2012.

PrintPlus vice-president Mahmoud Elkotb said: “Our four new fabrics represent a good year of hard work – we eliminated dozens of possibilities before we decided on this selection.

“We are at Fespa to introduce these high-end, high-quality products to potential customers and see what machines they are buying and using so we can develop the fabrics they need.”

PF48 is a 90gsm fabric for upholstery and curtain applications; PD36 is a 125gsm light satin for soft signs, banners and flags; elastic PD38 is a 200gsm, 90% polyester, 10% Creora spandex display fabric; and PD42 is a 130gsm “super-light” display fabric.

PrintPlus is exhibiting at stand 1.1-C63.
