Guandong to launch magnetic decor substrates

Guandong will premiere its new Digital Collection of substrates for wide-format printing at Fespa 2019.

The Chinese manufacturer will unveil a number of products in its ‘Smart Product’ line at the show in Munich, Germany, which runs from 14-17 May. The launches will include Mr Bordon, a rewritable magnetic board, the Mr Magnus digital laser printing line, and the M&F range to create magnetic walls.

The majority of products to be shown will be released as of the first day, although Mr Bordon is already commercially available and some products within the Mr Magnus digital offset line will be released by August.

Fabio Elmi, Guandong Italia marketing director, said: “To all digital media dealers and distributors out there, we say: you really should all pay a visit to our booth if you want to leave Fespa with the awareness of having seen with your own eyes such a comprehensive and compelling range of new products, capable to give your business a real twist.

“We have employed the same technique used for the production of roll media for 'classic' digital printing on sheets suitable for dry toner and digital offset printing.”

According to Elmi, Guandong’s portfolio is largely based around facilitating applications for instore decoration, in keeping with Fespa 2019’s focus on interior decor as a key growth market for wide-format printing.

The manufacturer’s stand will adopt a ‘Piazza Italia’ theme, promised by Elmi to be “the most welcoming” stand at the show with an offering of Italian prosecco and espressos.

Guandong’s wider portfolio includes products within for decoration, 'Spot deco' window decoration, plastic, textile and magnetic sheets.
