Redwood has confirmed that the giant Sky customer magazine contract is moving to Germanys Gruner + Jahr.
PrintWeek revealed last week that the Germans were tipped to wrest the 5.25m run monthly from Polestar Greaves, which has held the contract for six years.
This is a commercial decision based on cost, and Redwood continues to work with Polestar on other projects, said production manager Susanne Samad.
Sky will move to G+J from the November issue. Polestar will still do the personalised letter, wrapping and mailing.
We are disappointed, but wish them well with their new arrangements, said Polestar group sales and marketing director John Ashfield.
