Royal Mail chooses CFH direct mail solution for SME package

Royal Mail has selected a print and post solution developed by transactional mailing specialist CFH to be part of its new business services package for SMEs.

Developers of the Docmail solution at CFH have been working with Royal Mail in the development of the Simple Ways to Grow package.

The online design, print and mail system is aimed at start-ups and micro businesses with less than 10 employees or a turnover of less than £2m and offers them a portfolio of easy to use services.

Customers log on to a secure online portal where they can upload their personalised correspondence, which is then printed and posted by Docmail, saving companies time and money compared to the traditional method of printing and stuffing envelopes.

Other services in the package include website design; data base provision; email design and send platform; parcel postage discounts; an accountancy tool and stationery.

Royal Mail is talking with other potential providers in order to expand the range of services on offer to include areas such as legal advice, financial services and mobile phone apps.

The packages start from £28 per calendar month with no upfront costs.

CFH managing director Dave Broadway said the Documail service is "one of the fastest growing hybrid mail solutions in the UK."
