CFH wins Hays contract

Mailing specialist CFH Total Document Management has won a three-year contract worth 12m to install its Corporate Docmail system at recruitment company Hays.

The document management and hybrid mail system will be installed at Hays' London-based head office and 212 office branches. CFH estimates that more than 9m envelopes will be mailed through the contract each year.

CFH managing director Dave Broadway said: "The bespoke system that we have produced for Hays enables every member of staff throughout the UK to use Corporate Docmail. All postal communication being generated from Hays’ head office and their branch network up and down the country will be printed and mailed by Docmail."

Corporate Docmail enables Hays staff to create mail online. The correspondence is then centrally printed at Docmail, inserted into envelopes and posted via CFH Total Document Management’s downstream access facility.

According to CFH, the system will generate considerable savings for Hays, as stationery will no longer be required at network offices.

Martin Bird, procurement director for Hays, added: "This will result in huge efficiencies in areas such as paper usage and postage costs, while maintaining quality. We estimate that we will save around £10m over the next five years by using Docmail."
