Print Logic calls in administrators

Marden-based commercial print and direct mail business Print Logic has fallen into administration after racking up debts totaling £1.2m.

Simon Plant and Daniel Plant of SFP Group were appointed joint administrators of the 26-staff firm on 31 March and are continuing to trade the business while they search for a buyer.

According to SFP, the commercial print and direct mail business had sales of “between £3m and £4m”, with clients including Aegas, The British Red Cross and the NSPCC.

“Print Logic experienced cashflow difficulties due to its liabilities and severe creditor pressure has led to the company being placed into administration,” said Simon Plant.

“We are continuing to trade the company in the short term to maintain goodwill, while looking to sell the business and assets as a going concern."

According to a spokesman for SFP there has been “a good level of interest in the business and assets” and no staff have been made redundant since SFP’s appointment.

Print Logic was formed in 2009 as a print manager, before getting into print production in 2010 after moving into the premises of a former printer on Pattenden Lane, Marden.

According to Companies House, prior to its fall into administration the firm’s directors were Daniel Kingshott, Steven Lamb and Julian Whiteaker.
