Aimed at printers of all sizes

ECO3 rolls out new features and enhancements in Apogee

Apogee v14 has new tools for automation and efficiency

ECO3 has released a new version of its Apogee workflow software, which it described as helping print businesses “do more with less”.

ECO3 said the latest release tapped into customer demands for “tighter integration and easier management of complex production processes”.

Apogee v14 includes a new Production Dashboard feature, which gives users real-time production statistics. Users can track metrics per day, week or month for function such as plates, proofs and jobs handled.

Users of ECO3’s Spir@l screening tech and InkTune grey component replacement system can also see ink reduction data via Production Dashboard.

Also new is PaperTune, which is designed to optimise and reduce the number of makeready sheets required on a job. Intelligent colour bar placement allows sheets to be reused up to four times, helping to reduce costs.

In addition, Apogee Web Production Schemes has been integrated with the ePS Technique MIS, following the partnership between ECO3 and eProductivity Software announced at last year’s Drupa show

Erik Peeters, market manager commercial at ECO3 said the release was relevant for printers of all sizes: “Apogee v14 is designed to help print businesses do more with less,” he said.

Other tools in the system have been enhanced, including WebApproval and proofing of spot colours.

“It’s about making production faster, more reliable, and ready for the future. Whether you’re a small shop or a large operation, this release gives you the tools to take control and stay competitive.”

The new version is available now. Apogee is also available as a cloud service.

A range of OEM components have also been updated, including Adobe APPE 6.4 and PDF Library 21.0.0.5, and Enfocus PitStop Library SDK 2024.07.

Apogee has been developed over more than 20 years, and was first launched in 2003.
