A spokeswoman for Begbies-Traynor declined to comment on the current situation at the company, including industry rumours that staff had been made redundant.

Despite calls to the plant no one was available for comment.

The Liverpool-based company was the subject of a management buyout from JCM Media in 2003, formerly known as J&C Moores, when Littlewoods decided to sell JCM Media's print division.
