G&H buys JCM Print Services from administrators

Manchester print group Gask & Hawley (G&H) has acquired JCM Print Services from the administrators.

The Liverpool-based business, which went into administration with Begbies Traynor last month after suffering "unsustainable losses" (PrintWeek, 13 May), will now form part of G&H Web Offset.

Formerly part of the Littlewoods group it was bought in an MBO in April 2003 - JCM Print Services runs two Heidelberg webs, an 8pp and a 16pp, installed in October last year, as well as an 8pp Muller Martini Concept. It also operates two Heidelberg sheetfed machines.

G&H, which has sales of more than 16m, is formed of three divisions, G&H Sheetfed, G&H Web Offset and G&H Direct Mail. Its divisions have just been rebranded under the G&H brand and logo following a relocation of its headquarters to Trafford Park (PrintWeek, 27 May).
