DFlux couples Enfocus Switch workflow automation technology with Callas's pdfToolbox software to enable the automation of tasks such as file intake, submission and renaming.

Tom Peire, chief executive at Four Pees, said: "Switch is a very strong automation platform, while Callas, with Adobe's backing, has without any doubt the best and most complete PDF technology."

According to Four Pees, DFlux can help creatives, printers and publishers automate anything from a specific action, such as file conversion to PDF, to an entire process such as the file and color standardisation of incoming files.

The optional modules in DFlux include image optimisation, colour standardisation, and high-volume output automation.

DFlux was launched at last month's Ipex and is priced at €7,999 (£6,669). Pricing for the optional modules is as follows: image optimisation €3,149; colour standardisation €1,349; output automation €5,199.

Meanwhile, Four Pees has appointed former Enfocus chief executive and Gradual Software chief operating officer David van Driessche as chief technology officer.
