CFH readies for bigger deals with Bowes kit

Somerset direct and transactional mail house CFH has bolstered its inserting and enclosing capacity with a 1m spend on three Pitney Bowes inserting lines.

An APS high-speed inserting line (pictured) and an FX10 Flowmaster have already been installed after the firm signed a deal worth 20m over five years with an unnamed client in the banking sector. CFH already runs three enclosing lines. Adam Harwood, production systems director, said that the APS, which has a maximum speed of 20,000 envelopes per hour, would be used for high-volume transactional and critical mailings.

A second 12,000eph FX10, able to process C4 envelopes, will be installed within weeks.
