Apprentice stars turn print buyers for business show

Two stars from hit BBC show The Apprentice turned to a Leeds printer last week to procure collateral for events co-hosted by producers of Dragons' Den.

Resource Print Solutions (RPS) produced creative and print services for a series of business improvement events entitled Raising the Bar being organised by Kristina Grimes and Jenny Celerier, former stars of Sir Alan Sugar's reality TV programme.

RPS produced a 5,000-run 6pp brochure for the pair and is currently working on a similar product to promote Raising the Bar's Harrogate show.

Asif Choudry, sales and marketing director at RPS, said: "We're delighted to have heard those immortal words 'you're hired' from Kristina and Jenny and our new in-house creative agency is all fired up to make each of the planned events a great success.

"We were chosen because we can provide creative services and production without compromise. We also have ISO 14001 accreditation and use vegetable inks and recycled paper," added Choudry.

Grimes said the Harrogate event, which takes at the International Exhibition Centre on 26 March, would be "dedicated to giving forward-thinking business leaders the knowledge, tools and enthusiasm to get ahead in what will be a challenging 2009".

RPS houses a B2 Mitsubishi litho press, an Océ black-and-white digital press and a seven-colour HP Indigo 5000. It was founded in 1996 and has 50 full-time staff.
