AtC closes El Safa contract

Consumables supplier AtC has signed its largest ever consumables deal at a print show with Egyptian print and packaging company El Safa.

The deal, worth €500,000 (£434,000), marks a continuation of a relationship between the two companies that was first established at Ipex 2002, when they signed a consumables supply deal worth €8,000.

AtéCé managing director Bert Schelhaas, said: "This is the biggest consumables deal the company has ever signed at a print show. El Safa is a company we have had a successful relationship with for some years and we are delighted to have completed this contract at Ipex."

El Safa general manager Sherif El Bialy added: "I came to Ipex to secure this deal and ensure our consumables supply until the end of the year. It continues an eightyear relationship between our firms that has grown and grown."

The deal includes consumables such as blankets, fount solution and inks.
