BAPC members hit 3,000 at Ipex

The British Association for Print and Communication (BAPC) has signed up its 3,000th member during Ipex.

Neil Forrest, development director for web-to-print firm Cognitu Cloud Computing, acquired his membership on Saturday on the BAPC stand (9/F315).

He said: "I am delighted to be part of the print community that is the BAPC and honoured to be the organisation's 3,000th member."

BAPC chairman Sidney Bobb added: "It was great to sign up the 3,000th member at Ipex. We've been pleasantly surprised at the attention people have given us considering the fact they have the opportunity to see all the bells

and whistles of the print industry in one place. It's been really flattering."

The BAPC is a not-for-profit organisation that supports the print community with member services including business advice, arbitration, environmental consultancy and legal advice. Membership is a flat fee of £50 per year.

"We're an organisation of printers helping printers," said Bobb. "We want this industry to be a success and work with everyone possible to make this happen in this time of real change for the industry."
