APS Group's Doyle recognised by Tomorrow's People

APS Group Scotland managing director Allan Doyle has been awarded Ambassador of the Year by charity Tomorrow's People.

The award, presented on 15 November, is handed out to individuals that go "the extra mile" for the charity, which recognises those that have overcome significant barriers in their quest to get into work.

APS Group Scotland has provided pro bono marketing support to Tomorrow’s People since 2010, supplying a range of documents in short timeframes.

After seeing the work the charity put in to help Scotland's struggling youngsters to get into employment, Doyle suggested that APS Group Scotland and its supply chain could provide work experience placements.

Brian Gibson, national manager for young people’s services at the charity said: "Tomorrow's People is enormously grateful for the support that Allan and APS Group are giving.

"Encouragement from employers like APS Group is an essential ingredient in enabling a young person to progress on their journey into work. Allan’s steadfast commitment to the charity has built a very strong foundation for a lasting partnership."

Doyle added: "Tomorrow's People makes a very real difference to the lives of its clients by giving them the confidence to make positive life choices. The staff and their clients are inspirational and it is a privilege to help in some small way.

"Along with my colleagues at APS Group and a number of our suppliers, I look forward to continuing our partnership and to working with many more young people to assist them in finding sustainable, long-term employment."
