Alice Murray, account Manager at Fine Print Services and chair of the BPIF’s apprentice council is almost as passionate about skiing as she is about pushing print to limits of what it can achieve.

What’s at the top of your Christmas wish list this year?
To work with more high-end agencies and support big brands with their marketing campaigns. I enjoy working with these companies who want to explore every possibility and push print to the limit with what can be achieved.

What trend (business or technology) do you think 2018 will be remembered for?
Businesses preparing for what will happen after Brexit/what different impacts it may have on their business in the future. Also, GDPR! It was everywhere!

What do you think will represent the single biggest threat for printers in 2019 and why?
The effect Brexit could have on the industry.

What’s the one thing that the industry should do more of, or do better, in 2019?
Continue to promote and push apprenticeships available within the printing industry.

What was your highlight of 2018?
Being highly commended for the Victor Watson Trophy young person’s outstanding achievement

What are your hopes for 2019?
To continue to grow in my role here at Fine Print and pass my BPIF Level 5 management course!

What was the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
‘Its only ink on paper.’

What’s your favourite Christmas cracker joke?
How do snowmen get around?
They ride an icicle.

What was the best Christmas present you ever received?
Skiing holiday this year!
