Mark Dempsey is set to re-join HP Indigo after leaving Landa Digital Printing.

Dempsey joined Landa in 2016 and has worked at the business for almost five years, most recently as director of global and strategic accounts.

Prior to that he worked at HP for more than eight years, first at the HP Scitex operation and then as business manager UK and Ireland for its labels and packaging operation.

His industry career began in 2001 at Robert Horne.

In his new role at HP Indigo he is set to return to the labels and packaging remit, but with a Europe-wide role.

Dempsey has been on gardening leave and takes up his new role next week.

Andy Pike, who was promoted to HP EMEA industrial marketing lead last month, said: “It’s great news and we’re happy to have Mark back.”

Landa said that Dempsey’s strategic accounts were now being managed by the business, and a replacement would be announced in due course.

A spokesperson said: “Landa is recruiting for several positions in the UK. Following the success of the Route 1 installation and the Landa S10 that’s about to be installed at McGowans in Ireland, this is to help us to ramp-up local operations to support the interest received from the region and its expected growth.”
