The rebrand came into effect earlier today (12 May).
Paragon acquired the shares of the Brand Deployment, Psona and Editions businesses, along with certain assets of the Communisis Customer Experience printed communications wing in a near-£27m deal in December 2023, after various Communisis companies went into administration.
Paragon said the move marked “a moment of formal integration” with the Paragon Marketing Services business.
Paragon Global Brands is active in more than 100 countries across six continents, and counts leading brands including Sony, ABInBev, Pepsico and KraftHeinz among its customer base.
Services include creative; print; point-of-sale display; warehousing and co-packing; global rebrands and signage; digital, data and insights; immersive experiences; and consultancy.
It has also developed a sustainability dashboard, Greenup, that details the impact of each deployment.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to refresh our company and really have a new beginning, where we bring the combined capabilities of these two great organisations into one,” said Jonas Magnusson, CEO of Paragon Global Brands.
“Our clients operate in fiercely-competitive retail environments, and we are now able to support them with more impactful, stronger consumer experiences across the consumer journey.”
He said it put the business in a stronger position at the shopper “moment of truth” – when a purchase is made.
Guilhem Boucon, chief strategy officer at Paragon, added: “The deep and extensive multi-discipline expertise within Paragon is a core element of success.
“We are doers, and what we like is to combine digital and physical capabilitites, local and global, ultra-personalised – so data-oriented – and/or content management, compared to other competitors that are more siloed in each part.”
Paragon Global Brands said that existing clients could expect a seamless transition “with all current services and relationships remaining in place”.
Paragon employs more than 7,500 people worldwide, and had sales of €1.2bn (£1bn) in the year to 30 June 2024. It is owned by investment company Grenadier Holdings. Its other businesses are Paragon ID, Graphic Services, and Packaging.
