Spandex adds Avery's Diamond films to wrapping range

Spandex is offering five new ultra-metallic finishes after adding Avery Dennison's Diamond films to its range of Supreme Wrapping Films.

The new Diamond collection offers the finish in white, red, blue and amber plus one limited-edition purple targeting high-quality vehicle wrapping and personalisation.

Spandex said the new films are durable and faster to install thanks to Avery Dennison Easy ApplyT RS adhesive technology for accent colours and full wraps.

Spandex UK general manager Leon Watson said: “These colours offer more choice when it comes to high-quality vehicle wrapping and paint protection films for personalisation or fleet branding.

“The range offers a distinctive finish and has been well received by the first customers who recently had the chance to see this new product.

“The range offers the same technical features of the Supreme Wrapping Film including excellent conformability and easy-apply technology.

“And the good news is it’s the same price as the standard gloss colours, around around £20 per metre. We sell it by the metre or customers can buy 25m rolls, available for next day delivery.”

His company, which also offers a colour matching service for larger projects on the SWF range, last week launched a new “shade-shifting” car wrap.

Oracal 970 Premium Shift Effect Cast film offered a shade-shifting effect where the colour changed depending on the viewing angle, said Watson.

The product is a multi-layered, high-performance cast PVC film specially developed for complete car wrapping, costing under £20 per linear metre.
