Trade creditors urged to attend Graf creditors' meeting

Creditors of Harlequin Display Group's large-format print division Graf, which traded as Nowelle, have been urged to turn out in force for this month's meeting of creditors.

The meeting will be held on 23 June at the London office of insolvency practitioner Griffins, at which the Hatfield-based POP printer is expected to be liquidated.

Phil Burrows of Griffins told PrintWeek following the firm's engagement on 9 May that it would likely be appointed liquidator at the meeting of creditors although he added "it is open to the creditors if they wish to appoint somebody else".

A trade creditor who wished to remain anonymous contacted PrintWeek and called for as many print creditors as possible to attend the event.

"Creditors should absolutely attend the liquidator's meeting and tell the liquidator that we need to see the accounts, assets and liabilities, and statement of movements of funds for the last 36 months," he said.

Burrows said that a financial report would be made available to all creditors at the meeting and circulated subsequent to the meeting to anyone who doesn't turn up.

"There will be a financial report that includes the statement of affairs of the company's assets and liabilities, and a deficiency account, which reconciles the deficiency as per the statement of affairs – as of now – to the last published accounts."

The meeting of creditors will take place at 10.30am on 23 June at Griffins, Tavistock House South, Tavistock Square, London. Further information is available from Griffins by calling 020 7554 9600.
