Creditors' meeting set to reveal details of Printhaus administration

Administrators for Northampton-based Printhaus have announced that a creditors' meeting will be held to disclose details of the business's administration.

The announcement follows the sale of the business and assets of Printhaus to Printhaus (Northampton) Limited on 29 January – a shell company owned by print manager TPF Group.

Michael Kiely, of UHY Hacker Young, who was appointed together with joint administrators Andrew Andronikou and Peter Kubik on 19 January, revealed that he had been unable to advise creditors of the sale.

He said: "The creditors were notified of the appointment of the administrators on the 20 January 2009. Since the completion of the sale of the business and assets was after the initial circular to creditors, I was unable to advise them of the sale.

"In accordance with the Insolvency Act, I will convene a meeting of creditors and notify the creditors of my proposals shortly. This report will include details of the conduct of the administration and the sale of the business and assets."

UHY Hacker Young has not yet revealed when the meeting of creditors will be held.

Kiely added: "As the company is in administration, no other proceedings or other legal process may be commenced or continued against the company except with the consent of the administrator or the court."
