The Shipley Wayzgoose returns this weekend after an enforced hiatus caused by the pandemic.

The Wayzgoose takes place tomorrow (11 June) at the Kirkgate Centre in the Yorkshire town. It’s the fourth outing for the event.

“Here you will find 30 tables from some of the finest and wildest letterpress printers, bookbinders and type foundries that the UK has to offer,” said co-organiser Nick Loaring, owner of local letterpress printer The Print Project.

“And you might want to bring a wheelbarrow to carry your swag away as there will be plenty of type, inks, printing equipment, books and prints available to purchase, for one day only!”

The stall holders have been revealed on Instagram at @shipleywayzgoose in the run-up to the event.

It runs from 11am-4pm, with a café serving vegan food by Wrapture, “who make the best falafels in West Yorkshire”.

Shipley is located to the north of Bradford, and can be reached by train from Leeds and Bradford.
