Senator's Reynolds loses cancer battle

Trevor Reynolds, works director of Senator Print Finishers, has died after a short battle with cancer.

Reynolds, who was 48, had been fighting cancer for only months at the time of his death on 21 September.

Co-director David Billett paid tribute to Reynolds' reputation and career in the industry.

"With skills at any level in this industry being in short supply, then skills as high as he [Reynolds] achieved will never be seen again."

A former apprentice at William Caple in the 1970's, Reynolds joined Leicester-based Senator in 1978.

Recognised as one of the country's leading folding machine technicians, his last success was inventing a greetings card insert tipping-in machine.

Reynolds leaves a widow and four children. A service will be held at Nuneaton Crematorium on 1 October at 2.30pm.

Donations can be made via Senator to the Loros hospice cancer charity.
