RDM Test Equipment has been appointed as the official UK and European Union service centre for the repair and upgrading of all Tobias Associates equipment.
The densitometer manufacturer has appointed Hertfordshire-based RDM Test Equipment on an open-plan contract, to carry out warranty or non-warranty repairs on Tobias instruments.
Tobias UK agent Danny Moloney of Manchester-based Base Line said there were four or five as yet unnamed dealers in the UK selling the hand-held equipment, with at least two handling sales for the larger kit.
Tobias Associates and dealer LLS Technics were involved in an on-going dispute earlier this year, after Tobias served notice on its UK agent, severing a 10-year relationship (PrintWeek, 9 February).
