The £22m division has divided into Print Services and Technology Solutions, with existing directors Matt Spencer and Paul Seaborn at the respective helms.
The units consist of print and project management, under Print Services, and software for supply chain management, publishing, marketing and stationery under Technology Solutions.
Applied Solutions category director Tim Smith said the decision had been taken against the backdrop of increasing turnover and long-term contracts with firms like Virgin and Asda.
Joining Applied Solutions are Laura Lusardi as solutions manager and Steve Baldwin as quality manager.
