Nottinghams Print Media & Graphics Network has applied for 400,000 of European Social Fund grants for two major print projects in the region.
The first bid of 240,000 is for an initiative to take print into schools, targeting 15-16 year olds along with parent and community groups.
The second bid is for 158,000 to undertake research into the skills shortage in the East Midlands.
