Overmatter: verse and worse

In case you missed it, it was National Poetry Day last week. The event unearthed some rare print talent.

Copywriter Michael Walker shared his CMYK Blues (okay it’s a lyric, but it looks pretty poetic to us), which Overmatter can’t help noticing includes some rather overt product placement. But we do love the opening:

Meanwhile, Kenads Printers in Worthing penned an Ode to print including some delightfully lively allusions to printing and folding (top).

And kudos must go to Fujifilm’s Mark Stephenson (yes, him again) who managed to rhyme ‘Leicester’ with ‘investor’ while also plugging the firm’s recent Jet Press sales success.
