According to fashionistas one needs to be wearing florals, embellishments, skinny jeans or, if not, flares, lots of colours unless following the monochrome trend, or perhaps animal print. Or metallics, etc, etc. 

And that’s just the blokes.

However, despite not knowing whether something is Giorgio Armani or George at Asda, Overmatter was fashion-conscious enough to spot a bit of on-trend double denim action while partying with some of print’s super cool folk at a recent print bash. 

To quote that bastion of male fashion, Top Man: “Double denim is a trend that shows no sign of waning. Get it right and you can look as cool as Ryan Gosling in Drive.” 

Now there are four words that send Overmatter’s heart a-flutter. 

However, Top Man goes on to warn: “Get it wrong and you could end up like Justin Timberlake back in 2001 with Britney Spears – a look so bad he said he’d ‘probably pay good money to get some of those pictures off the Internet’.”
