Overmatter: Dog daze

Overmatter confesses to being in something of a post-Drupa stupor, and it’s an affliction shared by the entire PrintWeek team. As it happens, we found a print-related canine who seemed to be able to perfectly channel our inner feelings – even while we were still at the show.

Check out impossibly cute Bichon Frise Toby, a rescue dog who now has a fantastic home with Amanda Mullins of Battlefield Print Group, and has become the Shrewsbury firm’s official mascot as a result.

As you can see from the pictures, little Toby can make himself comfortable in any given situation. “He often puts his feet up against the wall,” reports Mullins. “In fact he’s sitting on my desk now.”

We can also reveal that Toby is also something of a star performer when it comes to sales.

“When customers walk in and see him, I usually win the order. He’s a great asset,” she adds.

We hear that Radio Shropshire is also interested in Toby’s, um, tale. And possibly tail.

For now, he’s certainly at the top of our nascent list of the ‘cutest dogs in print’.
