The south-east London firm will mainly use the press for its existing commercial four- and five-colour work.
Oaktree is now two years on from its MBO (PrintWeek, 1 September 2000) and fulfilled its plans to invest in CTP with the purchase of a Creo Lotem platesetter 12 months ago. It has also expanded its finishing capabilities with a Wohlenberg guillotine and Baumann finishing line.
Joint managing director Les Newnham said: We plan to buy a second perfecting machine and move to bigger premises over the next year.
Oaktree has 54 staff and a turnover of 6.5m. It also recently gained ISO 9001/2000 accreditation after 12 months of preparation.
