Over the next few weeks the company is planning to add eight people to its 70-strong team. The Oaktree Press has invested over 800,000 in new kit to boost its all-round offer.
The company bought a Heidelberg ST 400 Stitchmaster with six-station feeder, a Stahl TDT 78 digital folder and a Stahl KDT combination folder. The Oaktree Press has also upgraded its repro facilities following the purchase of a Creo Lotem 800 Quantum.
We need extra people to run our new kit, said The Oaktree Press joint managing director Les Newnham. The reason for this investment is that we want to offer a one- stop shop to clients. Taking finishing in-house saves us time and money.
The Oaktree Press is currently turning over around 7m and expects this figure to grow to 10m in 2004. The company produces commercial print including posters, newspapers, theatre programmes and point of purchase material.
