MGN becomes maiden Vio Worldwide client to use Adsend service

Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) has become the first Vio Worldwide client to migrate to the company's low-cost ad management and delivery service Adsend.

MGN, which previously used a mix of Vio's old ad portals for its national titles including The Daily Mirror, The Sunday Mirror and The People, has now gone live on Vio's Adsend portal across all titles.

MGN's migration to Adsend follows last month's announcement that Guardian News & Media (GNM) had become the first new Vio client to sign up to the Adsend system.

Gavin Page, European sales director at Vio Worldwide, said: "As more advertisers and publishers are signing up and using the system, we are seeing evidence that many advertisers are taking advantage of the capabilities to fix size, ink, colour and other errors.

"As part of the submission process, this functionality is far quicker and cheaper than manual fixing."

The Mirror Group, which has been a Vio customer for more than nine years, will continue to use the Vio Certified Soft Proofing system for all of its high-end colour display advertising.
