Manugraph bags orders from France, Nigeria, New Zealand and Brazil

Manugraph DGM (MDGM) has confirmed that it has signed deals for supply and installation of its MDGM and Cityline Express web offset presses to France, Nigeria, New Zealand and Brazil.

MDGM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Manugraph India. MDGM and Manugraph India manufacture a complete line of single and double-width offset presses, including the Cityline Express, 430, 430MAX, Hiline Express, Advantage II 440 and Frontline, also including a full line of folders like F122, F222, F233, 1035, 1240, 1050, and 1270.

I K Dogra, general manager sales at Manugraph India, said: "We are fortifying our position in the international market place and continue our march as a global leader in printing technology."

La Charente Libre of Cognac in France will install two MDGM 430, four-high tower web presses. The new MDGM 430 towers will be added to the existing MDGM, Goss and Creusot-Loire press. The units which are scheduled to be delivered in October 2011 will be manufactured at the MDGM facility in Elizabethville PA, USA.

The other MDGM installations in the deals include, Academy Press in Lagos, Nigeria for an MDGM 440 four-high tower, which already has a 440 press and New Zealand-based MDGM agent, Webco, for a 430 four-high tower. Both the presses for Nigeria and New Zealand will be manufactured in MDGM facility in USA.

Jornal A Cidade in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil will add a Cityline Express four-high and a new F222 folder. MDGM and its agent Ferrostaal signed this deal for the parent company, Manugraph India.

This project also involves an extensive reconfiguration of the existing 18 unit Cityline Express press. The equipment is scheduled for shipment in November, 2011.
