The firm's patent-pending Multi-Sampling technology is claimed to reduce the appearance of electronic noise from the scanner's CCD, making for clearer scans with better shadow detail.
Additional benefits of the new technique are that the cleaner digital files can have higher amounts of sharpening applied, producing sharper and crisper-looking results, and can also be reproduced at higher magnifications.
