The new module aims to help automate the onerous task of updating catalogues with new price and product specifications by directly transferring that information from a firm's PIM software.
Hybris said that the major benefits of the module will be to accelerate the publication of new and updated product information, and cut around 60% from the time required to translate that information into other languages.
The module, which is compatible with InDesign and QuarkXPress, also allows last-minute changes to catalogues without holding up the production process, according to Hybris.
"Across all industries, print catalogues are still one of the main revenue drivers," said Hybris consulting director Andy Piscina. "Getting accurate and tailored information to market quickly is just one way for firms to differentiate themselves."
