KMCA reports steady business thanks to Facebook success

Art printer KMCA has hailed the success of promoting its business on social networking site Facebook.

Tim Messom, who runs the Nottingham-based digital printer, turned to the website earlier this year in order to help stave off possible bankruptcy when the company fell on hard times.

Following the launch of two Facebook groups, one named "Save Tim From Bankruptcy", Messom has been spreading the company name on the internet using networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter.

He said: "Orders are on the up, which is good news. The business is still keeping going following the quieter summer months and that's the main thing.

"With free publicity available from sites such as Facebook and Twitter, it would be crazy not to use them to attract business."

The company carries out jobs on its two digital Epson 9600 printers and Messom believes the company offers a personal touch "that other websites can often not allow you to do".
