Pearce will work alongside current chief executive David Sewell until a full handover on 10 July 2006.
In addition to recruiting new members to the non-profit trade association, Pearce, who is also Wesleyan Assurance Societys marketing services manager, will be tasked with enhancing the organisations range of member benefits.
I am delighted to have secured this important position, said Pearce, and look forward to working with David and the team to raise the profile of the IPIA and grow the association.
Sewell said that Pearces 25 years of industry knowledge would be a real asset to the IPIA. I wish him well in the role and look forward to working with him, he added.
