Timothy Noad received an MBE for services to calligraphy, heraldry and design.
The Uxbridge-based designer works at the College of Arms. He also runs courses in heraldry and works to introduce children and young people to the little-known craft.
Noad has worked on a variety of Royal commissions, including the elaborate ‘instrument of consent’ from the late Queen Elizabeth II, which marked formal approval for the marriage of the now-Prince and Princess of Wales.
He also created the calligraphy for Fortnum & Mason’s coronation collection.

Emma Bridgewater becomes a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to ceramics.
Her Stoke on Trent factory employs around 280 people and her eponymous pottery designs are produced using a combination of hand painting and lithographic transfers. The range has expanded from ceramics into a range of merchandise, much of it printed, including greeting cards and bags.
Russell Granville, R&D fellow at Amcor Flexibles, received an MBE for services to packaging and environmental responsibility.
Professor Sophie Thomas, a designer and expert in closed-loop material streams, received an OBE for services to sustainable design.
Thomas is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Waste Management and sits on the board of WRAP.
Doris Levinson, founder and editor of the Sussex Jewish News magazine, was awarded a British Empire Medal for services to Jewish and interfaith charities and to the community in Sussex.
Philanthropist and former drug addict Hans Kristian Rausing, the billionaire grandson of Tetra Pak founder Ruben Rausing, received a knighthood for services to the arts.
Rausing has given more than £500m to charities involved in health, welfare, the arts, education and rehabilitation.
Clare Barclay, CEO of Microsoft UK, was made a Dame for her services to business, technology and leadership.
