Rey Jetprint is suitable for presentations, documents, reports and applications using colour illustrations or photographs, and is a new addition to the Rey range of business papers.
The new grade has an ink-jet receptive surface treatment with pigmentation on both sides.
Compared to a standard paper, Rey Jetprint is said to offer better optical densities, due to improved brightness and opacity.
IP announced the launch of the new Rey quality at its eighth international conference, Innovation and Paper, held last month in Paris (PrintWeek, 15 March).
Rey Jetprint is produced at International Papers Maresquel facility in France. It is manufactured using 100% elemental chlorine-free pulp, and certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 environmental standards.
Merchant stockists in the UK include Premier Paper, while Papyrus is "seriously looking" at stocking the new grade.
