IP marketing manager for UK and Ireland, Alison King, said the new grade was aimed at the professional print sector market, and could be used for both black and white and colour applications.

Pro-Explore has a pigmentation surface treatment, which provides a unique touch, high level of opacity and stability when printing at high speeds.

King said now that IP was selling into new sectors, such as local authorities and educational establishments, it needed new papers for these markets.

Pro-Explore is available in five weights from 80gsm to 160gsm and in sizes A4, A3 and SRA3.

King said the range of weights available for Pro-Explore may even go lower in the near future.

The IP professional range is built around three grades, Pro-Explore, Pro-Design and Pro-Works, and is ISO 9076 certified.

All are available exclusively in the UK and Ireland through the paper merchants The Associated Independent Merchant Stockists (AIMS) Group.
