Indigos latest digital colour offset press, the Platinum, is to make its worldwide debut at a roadshow event from 4-5 September at Manchester Uniteds Old Trafford ground, prior to its unveiling at Chicagos Print 01.
The Publisher 4000 twin-engine web-fed press, will make its debut appearance at Print 01, and is set for beta-testing later in the year.
Indigo UK marketing manager Richard Davies said the company was on the verge of beta testing the Publisher 4000 with "a massive organisation in Japan", but would not give any further details.
The Publisher 4000, being billed as "the future of colour", will be commercially available in the second half of 2002.
Along with the Platinum and Publisher 4000, other products on show at Print 01 include the e-Print Pro+, the Omnius WebStream for labels and packaging, and the MultiStream for speciality printing.
Indigos digital photo studio will also showcase the Photo-e-Print, which produces photographic quality prints in seconds.
Digital Printing Images in Londons Docklands has become the latest company to install a five-colour Indigo TurboStream digital offset colour press.
The firm, which has a second outlet in the West End of London, produces corporate brochures, leaflets, reports and business cards.
Indigo has also announced the appointment of Hans van Veen as vice-president, customer care for Europe.
