The offer is open to businesses using earlier Mimaki "baby grand" machines – the JV3-250SP and JV3-250SPF – and offers £8,000 for the machines against the £39,995 list price of the JV33-260.

According to Hybrid, the 2.6m-wide JV33-260 at 18sqm per hour is 60% faster than the older machines and, through the use of the latest printheads, produces a higher image quality.

The Mimaki SS21 inks used in the machine are also lower odour, faster drying and have a wider colour gamut. It also supports white ink.

The machine's powered feed and take-up is said to guarantee consistent tracking of the media over the entire 2.6m width.
