HH Global scoops 9m Post Office business and makes senior digital appointment

HH Global has won a 8.9m print production and print management contract from the Post Office, and boosted its digital credentials with the appointment of Chris Heap as digital media development director.

The Surrey-based print management company, which this summer reported record sales growth in 2012, has been contracted by the Post Office to provide "distribution, storage, stockholding, MI and invoicing" services.

Meanwhile, Heap, who was most recently managing director of Imperative Group and has worked at media firms including Viacom and Mood Media, will join HH Global on 1 October.

He will become responsible for the development of new digital media products and services to enable clients to better-connect with customers when travelling, shopping, working and relaxing.

Heap said: "Given the pace of growth in the digital sector worldwide and a combined desire from both HH Global and their clients to make digital a larger part of the media mix, this appointment is both timely and necessary."

In July, HH Global reported a sales rise from £95m in 2011 to £99.2m in 2012 for the year ending 31 March, with the £4.2m growth being evenly split between the UK and the rest of the world.
