Heidelberg plans showcases

Heidelberg is to offer a look back to the future at its annual open house events, where some of the companys latest technology will be on display.

Visitors to October events will be given a chance to review the changes shown at this year's Drupa exhibition, where some two-thirds of the equipment it displayed was either new or extensively updated.

The three events will be staged at Heidelberg Tamworth on 5-7 October, Brentford on 12-14, and Leeds on 19-21 October.

All three houses will show the new perfecting version of the Speedmaster CD74, the Heidelberg-developed Suprasetter thermal CTP system, and the new TH buckle and KH combination folder series.

A major feature at each of the sites will be Prinect connectivity, to show with Heidelberg's commitment to open JDF connectivity. Leeds visitors will also be able to see the new Printmaster PM52-5P, and the ST350, which is JDF-compatible.

The Tuesday and Thursday openings at all three locations will be staged from 10am to 5pm, with a breakfast option at Tamworth, Brentford and Leeds on the Wednesday from 8am to 10am.

The normal open day will continue until 5pm.
