The Printmaster 52 is an alternative to the Speedmaster 52 and a preview model will form part of the open house presentation at Brentford.
It offers differing levels of automation and will be aimed at the smaller end of the commercial market.
The Printmaster 52 will be able to produce up to five colours and follows the Printmaster 74, the cost-effective 50cmx70cm entry-level two-colour press billed as an alternative to the Speedmaster 74, which was launched at Drupa 2000.
The open houses will take place in Leeds from 1-3 October, Brentford from 21-24 October and Tamworth from 5-8 November.
They will focus on Heidelbergs long perfector technology in the shape of the SM74-10P at Leeds, and the larger B1 SM102-10P in Brentford.
Heidelbergs NexPress and Digimaster digital machines will be on view at every open house, along with Speedmaster 52 technology and Printmaster QM 46-2s.
The Digimaster 9150 will be on view at Brentford, while the new Probinder with inline, nearline and offline options will make its debut at both Brentford and Tamworth.
Brentford will also host a demonstration of Prinect, including the Prinance MIS module.
The range of products we have on show this time round is awesome, said Heidelberg UK sales director Jim Todd. Printers should not miss out on this chance to assess current and future directions of technology and printing generally."
