The software helps ensure the printers produce colour-matched copies, whether they are viewed locally or remotely, and that are comparable to alternative processes such as flexo, offset and gravure, including for spot colours.
Roland's VersaUV LEC-540 and VersaCamm VS are both able to produce a wide range of effects, such as using metallic inks, and can print onto substrates up to 1mm (rigid) as well as vinyl, PE, leather and fabric among others.
The software also supports the integrated cutting systems through its Print & Cut option.
The LEC-540 and VS-300, 420, 540 and 640 machines are aimed at digital mockup applications, with the VS range including contour cutting.
