Fastsigns targets growth following successful 2012

Fastsigns Hammersmith is targeting the 500,000 turnover mark by the end of 2013 after a successful 10 months under new ownership.

The west London branch of the sign and graphics franchise was bought by husband and wife team Friederike and Simon Slee last November.

Combining a background in finance and graphic arts, the couple and their five-strong team have completed a number of high-profile jobs including a makeover featured in Channel Five's The Hotel Inspector.

"We think display graphics and signage is a fantastic area to be in and buying into a franchise was the perfect way for us to do this," said Simon Slee.

"We were fortunate to take on a business that was in good shape backed up by a fantastic team. At one point we had increased turnover 45% thanks to a focus on quality and strong customer service."

The Hammersmith facility produces a range of print products including banners, building signs, vehicle decals as well as work for a nearby conference and events centre.

The company was also recently nominated for the 'Best Customer Award' run by Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council.

Slee added: "We have been going from strength-to-strength. We strongly believe in providing customers with the best quality in both products and service and work closely in partnership with them from start to finish.

"We offer advice and suggestions to ensure that customers get the best possible solution to their sign and graphics needs."
