The firm has bought an eight-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 perfector.
It came with a Stitchmaster ST100, with eight stations, and a cover feeder, as well as a Ti52 buckle-folder.
The new kit will go into the 300sqm unit next door to its main plant, which will be used for the production of leaflets and brochures.
Managing director Steve Rowland (pictured) said: "We have 10-, five- and two-colour presses. The new one is not a replacement.
"If we don't invest, we won't have the capacity. Long perfectors are ideal because of the quality match on both sides of the sheet.
"We are not after big magazine jobs they are too competitive. But with lots of little customers, we can offer high efficiency without downtime, repair and maintenance costs."
